In autumn, a gentle freshness moves through the valley, nature begins to glow. The best time to discover the Engadine.

Nature is preparing for its hibernation. And is therefore particularly active. In the National Park, chamois and marmots can be observed, bearded vultures make their circles.

Now is the best time for hiking.

One of many destinations for autumn excursions is Bergell. Here in Soglio, it is now the time for chestnuts. They are collected by families and dried in old granite ovens; the scent of chestnuts pervades the whole valley.

On the way on 400 km of single trails and marked routes. A dream for mountain bikers.
